I have run with the Yankee Runners since 2009 and been a pace leader for the amazing and fabulous 10 min/mile group since 2015. Fortunately, I’ve always had a sense of rhythm, so it’s a natural fit! I played softball and then was on the crew team (which perfected the aforementioned rhythm) in college. After graduation, I started running because it was an affordable (read—free) fitness option. I was hooked on marathons after my first Chicago in 2009 and won’t stop until I’m at least 100 years old…or tired of it. I love being a pace leader, talking about the marathon (occasionally singing) and especially talking about running. The 2019 Chicago Marathon will be my 12th marathon.
